The Jacob Cade Project
Opening Night “Rocktoberfest” is September 16th
O’Brien Park – 6P- 10:30P
Last years short evening party just got extended! We’re going musical rock out time this year! In Germany, they often celebrate with Bluegrass and Rock. This year, we’re setting our new tradition for opening night before our traditional weekend entertainment brings the cultural experience that many are looking for! Plan a progressive evening of mixed acts from the main stage. And it’s not just any old musical lineup either! We’ll be starting with Colorado’s best in Bluegrass and progressively moving toward good ol’ fashion rock music by evenings end! We are truly becoming one of Colorado’s premier Oktoberfest celebrations and the Rocktoberfest kick off night is what the people are asking for!
Our evening will also be a Grand Celebration for our new German Bier and presenting sponsor Erdinger Weissbrau. Expect plenty of extra’s when you attend. Our new food court, beverage and select vendor access is sure to make the evening worth attending. Bring your chicken dance moves as we always look to find our early winners for that dance off!

We also have Non-Profit organization partnering volunteer opportunities too!
Parker Oktoberfest is setting new tradition this year. In Germany, often the music of choice at a festival is Bluegrass and Rock. We decided to present the same thing to kick off our weekend celebration on a Friday night. Quite simply, we’re calling it ROCKTOBERFEST at Oktoberfest.
The evening will take guests many new musical directions on the evening. We kick off at 6:00 with announcements, speeches and toasts to the celebration. Then the fun begins!
The Hilltop Harvest Band is becoming one of the hottest bands in Colorado Bluegrass culture. Austin roots and Colorado talent converge for one of the best harmonizing and twists of some cool classics. (6:00- 7:30PM)
You want talented youth? We bet you didn’t know about this beyond description musical force in the Colorado music scene. Parker’s own teen phenom Jacob Cade (The Jacob Cade Project) (7:45- 8:30 pm) will grace the stage and rock us BIG with his immensely popular original styles in music. Jacob has been performing lately in multiple states and is building quite the following! Check out Jacob’s site here and like and follow him on facebook here.
Weekend Medicine (8:45 -10:30pm) is one of Denver’s hottest rock n roll classics cover bands and will punctuate the evening that is certain to have us all dancing the night away. Gifted musicians, Weekend Medicine on the local scene has climbed up the charts and we’re thrilled to have them working the night crowd for us! Learn More About Weekend Medicine Here
Come enjoy the evening!

We’ll have the before and afters there too. Bob’s Fresh Roasted Nuts are always a favorite, while Repicci’s Ice is sure to please with dessert!
Our friends from the south (Italy) will be there with the frozen treats that will be certain to take the heat off the kraut! And it’s all VERY cost friendly for the night!
This year marks our second year for our Winegarten area at our our festival. By popular demand, the wine drinkers have won us over to give them a special place in the Oktoberfest. Afterall, why not? In Germany the winegarten tents are among the crowd favorites.

And our staple and anchor to the event comes by way of our growing Biergarten, compliments of Erdinger Weissbrau. These German draft specialist make our event all about the heritage of great German bier at harvest.

We Thank the People That Make Events Happen in Parker
Without the generosity of these fine businesses, municipalities and people, growing events such as Parker Oktoberfest would not be possible.
A BIG special thanks to each and every one of you. For 11 years, we have looked to grow this event from when it was first funded by an individual officer in our organization with a vision to bring German culture to the Front Range. We have persevered in many transformations since then and now have one of the best and growing Oktoberfests in the state of Colorado. Let’s Prost to the growth of ten more years!
